Machetes no longer necessary on the Southfield Farm Track!
This morning a small group of Walkers are Welcome volunteers together with the Hampshire North Community Ranger completed the vegetation cutting along the Southfield Farm track and installed a fingerpost indicating the route of the Public Right of Way….. please DO NOT walk the field margin, that is private agricultural land.
It was hard work and hot work working with just hand tools, but I’m sure you will agree that it’s a job well done.
Our thanks again to the volunteers (and rangers) who help to keep our footpaths open.
