Whitchurch Lawn Bowling Club – Open Day

Whitchurch Lawn Bowling Club – Open Day

Whitchurch Bowling green is tucked away beside Long meadow Sports complex. It’s surprising how many people don’t realise we are there but our club has been here in Whitchurch since 1924 although not always in that location.

Please do come along and join us on 13th May from 10.30am to try your hand at bowling on our green. All you need are flat shoes, and we will supply everything else you need to give it a go.

The Air Ambulance will be present with their new flight simulator and there will be fun and competitions on the green for all ages including children.

Bowling is a heathy outdoor sport for all ages and abilities. All our members would agree we start with little ability and the challenge is to self-improve every game. We would love to see a good mix of ages join us before our centenary celebrations next year.

If you feel you would like to give it a go, we offer a couple of trial sessions with coaching before you make your decision.
