Our last painting evening was a huge success, so we’re bringing it back!
Join us on Thursday, 1st May when we will paint this sunlit woodland scene for spring – no previous experience is needed, you will be guided through the painting in easy stages by professional artist and designer Deborah. All equipment is provided, just bring an apron – informal and fun event with plenty of laughter and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere…. and drinks available throughout!

Whitchurch Rambling Club – This Evening’s Ramble is the Longparish ‘Riverdance’
This evening’s Ramble is a pleasant 3.5 mile easy circular walk following the popular ‘Riverdance’ Trail at nearby Longparish.
We meet at Bell Street car park for the short drive to our start point.
Cars will depart at 7pm promptly – car sharing is usually available; it is customary to offer the driver £1 towards petrol.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
Membership is £2 for the season.

More infoSummerdown ‘The Peppermint People’ – Farm Tour, Oakley
Tucked away in the foothills of the Hampshire downs, the Summerdown Estate is a hidden gem enveloped by beautiful rolling countryside. It’s also the home of the world renowned Summerdown collection of English peppermint chocolates, teas and treats.
To start our tour of the farm we’ll head out on foot into our woodland and fields, led by our Farm Manager Ian Margetts. Ian will explain the sustainable ways in which we manage the land, including creating habitats for nature to thrive.
Although the weather wouldn’t deter us if it is a bit ‘British’, it might affect the experience, so we’ll have a wet weather alternative. Suitable footwear for uneven ground and muddy tracks is essential. We’ll finish with an opportunity to taste some Summerdown teas and treats, made with our prized Black Mitcham peppermint.
We recommend this tour for relatively active people as this tour will cover a considerable amount of walking.
After booking your tour we will email you within 7 days giving full details of the event. A full refund is available up to 14 days prior to the tour date. If cancelling within 14 days prior to the tour date, an exchange to a different tour of the same value can be offered.
