Train
Whitchurch railway station is situated on the northern edge of the town and is on the main London – Exeter railway line with trains approximately every hour in each direction, with more during peak times. There are easy links to London, Southampton, Reading and the Midlands and the West country. The ticket office is open in the mornings and there is a ticket machine. The hourly 86 bus serves the station (not evenings or Sundays) and stops just outside the forecourt.
The station is serviced by South Western Railway.
Bus
Whitchurch is served by regular Stagecoach South bus services to Basingstoke and Andover.

Road
Whitchurch is just off the A34 north/south route which links Southampton to the Midlands and the north, and is also just three miles north of the main M3/A303 London to West country route, accessed at Bullington Cross.
From the south traffic should exit the A34 at the signposted slip road and continue to follow the road under the flyover to reach the town centre in one mile.
From the north, traffic should take the left exit near Litchfield signposted to Whitchurch and follow the road for three miles to reach the town centre.
For local traffic from Basingstoke or Andover the B3400 connects directly.
Air
The nearest commercial airport is Southampton, 20 miles south. Access by road to Whitchurch from the airport is via the M3/A34 (northbound) then as above. If travelling from the airport’s railway station, change for Whitchurch at Basingstoke.
Alternatively, Heathrow Airport is 50 miles north east. Access by road to Whitchurch from the airport is via the M25/M3/A34 (northbound) then as above. Or via the M25/M4/A34 (southbound) then as above. If travelling by rail, take the Piccadilly Underground Line to central London and then the South Western Railways train service from London Waterloo to Whitchurch (some trains require you to change at Woking or Basingstoke).
