This months talk is “The cup that cheers- the story of tea from Catherine of Braganza to Queen Victoria” with guest speaker Joy Pibworth.

Join Rosy Hardy at Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants for a talk on Early Autumn flowering perennials.

Rosy picks a selection of early Autumn flowering perennials from the nursery and talks about their attributes – how best to grow them, combine them with other plants to create great planting combinations and how to avoid common pitfalls.

RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) members ticket price £17.50. Please bring your membership card with you.  Non RHS members ticket price £20.00

Returning for another year, our popular Silk Mill Food Festival will take place in the grounds on Sunday 17th September.

We will be joined by delicious local food and drink suppliers including Crepe Britain, Mummy Makes, Thai Bites, Hot Oven, Longdog Brewery and lots more!

With even more to enjoy this year, there will be face painting from Ashley Archer, children’s activities led by Watercress & Winterbournes, Junk Jodie crafts (10.30-2), LIVE music throughout the day and even the chance to play our human fruit machine game!

We welcome Steve Jay as our solo artist, together with our resident DJ.
