This oil painting could have been painted 200 hundred years ago, if you ignore the overhead electrical wiring, and I suspect Whitchurch residents will find this local view more than familiar. It depicts one of the ever decreasing thatched cottages that must have been abundant in our borough in those times. Observant readers/walkers may also have noted with some amusement another thatched cottage within our town that displays a giant spider on the roof which makes me smile whenever I pass by.

So do you know where this oil painting view is as well as our diminishing number of  thatched cottage locations? Enjoy your search but please keep clear of GIANT SPIDERS!
