A fantastic evening was enjoyed by all at Parsonage Meadow for the Rainbow Cup match against Hampshire hospitals.
Whitchurch Cricket Club would like to thank everyone for coming down and donating, in total we raised a magnificent £400 for the Hampshire Hospitals Trust.
Match Report:
Hampshire Hospitals batted first in the 18 over match and put together a very respectable 126. This was chased down by a strong Whitchurch line up with around 3 overs to go. Standout performance goes to Martyn Dancer for his reverse sweep off of a short delivery. I only wish we could’ve filmed it so you could all see.
Whitchurch are away from home on Saturday as they begin their Vector cup campaign against St Mary’s.
