The Whitchurch Halloween Spooktacular – Back by Popular Demand – 30th & 31st October The event will take place over the whole weekend so families can take their time to see all the displays – it also coincides with fireworks on the Saturday evening.

A trail map will be produced.

Tales from the Riverbank Photography Competition Chalk streams are amazing places that give a home to animals like kingfishers, otters, and brown trout. Your local Wildlife Trust is getting inspired by these precious waterways, with the Tales from the Riverbank Photography Competition!

We’re looking for photos of the Test and Itchen headwaters, and would love to see images from the Whitchurch area. Whether you’re a camera whizz or a smartphone snapper, capture these amazing places and you could be a winner.

Finally, Des will cover the three big Countryside Stewardship options that benefit farmland birds. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q and A’s

Thank you to everyone who voted at the recent Borough elections. Turnout was impressively strong, despite the Covid backdrop; thank you for making the effort.  

I promise to work hard and meet challenges as they arise, and I look forward to working positively and collaboratively with other Councillors.   Frustratingly, because of the new ward boundary changes, my term is only for 12 months; I do hope you will feel able to vote for me again this time next year.   In the meantime – I would like to say thank you for your support.
