PROBUS is a national organisation, composed of autonomous Clubs for retired professionals and businessmen. The purpose is to provide and promote a forum for social meetings and activities. The PROBUS Club of Whitchurch was established in 1986, and its activities are centred on a monthly luncheon meeting, preceded by discussion, and a brief presentation on topics of interest to its target membership. In addition, a number of social events are held throughout the year.
Currently the Club meets on the second Monday of each month at the White Hart Hotel in Whitchurch, usually starting at 12.00 noon with lunch served at 1.00pm. The next luncheon meeting will be held on 10 February.
The Club would welcome new members. There is a small annual membership fee, and for a “taster” we would welcome prospective new members at a monthly luncheon – free of charge !!
