Introducing the Test Valley Rambler Bus Service, operating between Andover and Romsey every Sunday 21st July – 15th September.

“There really couldn’t be a better time of year to explore this beautiful part of the country. The Test Valley Rambler is perfect for those looking to discover a new place, heading out for a walk or seeking a tipple in a quaint pub”.

The bus from Andover Bus Station will follow a scenic route along the Test Valley, following much of the former Spratt & Winkle rail line and will link favourite destinations; Hawk Conservancy Trust, Army Flying Museum, Danebury Iron Age Hillfort, Stockbridge, Houghton Lodge Gardens, Horsebridge – John O’Gaunt Pub, Mottisfont Abbey and finally Romsey

The service will be operated by Blue Star buses in co-operation with Hampshire Community Rail Partnership and Three Rivers CRP with funding from SWR Customer & Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF)

“We’re expecting the service to be well-used throughout the summer. And, any single journey along the whole or part of the route is capped at £2, as part of the Government’s Help for Households scheme. Concessionary passes are also accepted.”
