Chris Brannigan is walking 700 miles from Land’s End to Edinburgh bare-footed, that’s right without any shoes or sock! Not only is he taking on his massive walk without anything on his feet he is also doing it while carrying 25kgs of kit on his back with everything he need to keep going, including a one-man tent to sleep in.

Wondering why he’s doing this?

“I’m a dad to a little girl called Hasti.
Hasti is eight and she dreams of being a chef or a dancer when she grows up, but she also has a rare genetic condition which currently has no treatment or cure! I am doing this challenges to raise the funds needed to create a gene therapy treatment to change her fate and to give her the future she deserves.”

This Saturday (18th July) he comes through Whitchurch please do go out to cheer him on keep his spirits high and maybe walk a mile or two with him to keep him company!
