Whitchurch Evening Ramblers – Sutton Scotney, Wonston & Hunton

This evening’s 4.2 mile circular walk takes us south to the pretty Dever Valley villages of Sutton Scotney, Wonston and Hunton.

We meet at Bell Street car park for the short drive to our start point.

Cars will depart at 7pm promptly – car sharing is usually available; it is customary to offer the driver £1 towards petrol.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Membership is £2 for the season.

This evening’s 4.9 mile circular walk heads out to the beautiful Bourne Valley and the hamlet of Stoke. This walk has some climbs so good walking shoes a must.

We meet at Bell Street car park for the short drive to our start point.

Cars will depart at 7pm promptly – car sharing is usually available; it is customary to offer the driver £1 towards petrol.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Membership is £2 for the season.

This evening’s Ramble is a beautiful 4.7 mile circular walk up onto the Wayfarers Trail to Crux Easton and the Three Legged X. Views of the Highclere Stud, Beacon Hill and passing by the Crux Easton windmill. This walk has a long drag up onto the Wayfarers Trail…. good walking shoes a must.

We meet at Bell Street car park for the short drive to our start point.

Cars will depart at 7pm promptly – car sharing is usually available; it is customary to offer the driver £1 towards petrol.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Calling all parents, grown-ups, and grandparents of primary-school age children! Join us for family-friendly outdoor theatre in the delightful setting of Whitchurch Millennium Meadow.

Whitchurch Conservation Group is very excited to offer Whitchurch Open Air Theatre, a season of FREE interactive, family-friendly theatre, with different shows taking place over three Saturdays in June and July 2024, to coincide with the Basingstoke Festival. THE EXTRAORDINARY TIME-TRAVELLING ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN Amazing tales, elegantly told. The Extraordinary Time-Travelling Adventures of Baron Munchausen is a multi award-winning, family friendly, improvised storytelling show. There will be pirates and princesses, unicorns and dragons, spacemen and swordfights, and all of it completely and irrefutably true.

Imagine Jackanory meets Whose Line Is It Anyway, live. The cast are challenged to tell increasingly extravagant tales all based on The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. All they have are their wits, a box of silly hats, and the imaginations of a room full of giggling children to ensure that the stories end happily ever after.

Leicester Comedy Festival “Best Children’s Show 2020” WINNER. Greater Manchester Fringe “Best Kid’s Show 2019” WINNER. Edinburgh Fringe 2022 Bobby Award – Nominee.

Suitable for: age 6+

Boxville a Time Travel Craft-A-Long Adventure Can you help the Boxville engineers gather the materials they need to help save BOXVILLE!

Join Designer Sam Wilde and Director Ian Nicholson (I Want My Hat Back Trilogy) on their next cardboard adventure – BOXVILLE – using their trademark sustainable cardboard puppet style you can venture with us into BOXVILLE, a land made entirely from sustainable cardboard!

Work with the BOXVILLE engineers to craft-a-long and build your way through the story, meeting paper dragons, corrugated pirates, and cardboard space robots in this stem skilled, hands on, interactive, time travel adventure! Watch the trailer here
