The 13th Romsey Festival will run from Saturday 1st to Sunday 16th July at venues across Romsey & the surrounding area.
Held every three years, the festival is a celebration and showcase for the vast amount of talent within Romsey and the surrounding district and has a focus on community events.
Music ranging from choral concerts to solo performers, from orchestras to folk & jazz. Exhibitions including calligraphy, quilts, photography and painting. Theatre – comedy & drama. Gardens, buildings & environment. History, local culture and religious celebrations. Talks, walks, demonstrations and interactive events.

The Whitchurch Parish Summer Fete returns this year in the new location of the Silk Mill and the Gill Nethercott Centre.
Expect local crafts, dog show, local beers and events throughout the day. UPDATE! The Whitchurch Parish Fete will be running on Saturday despite the weather! Please come along and join us. We are supported by the Methodist Church which gives us a third venue alongside the Silk Mill and Gill Nethercott Centre allowing us to move all stalls and attractions indoors. This means we keep the Juggling school, Bar, Hotspice Whitchurch and The White Hart, Whitchurch in our line up for the afternoon alongside many many other brilliant stalls. Join us from 1130 at Town Hall where the RBL Corps of Drummers will kick of the event with a parade down Winchester Road. Little Monsters are actively encouraged to attend and join the parade! Please help us make this event a success despite the weather!

Whitchurch Conservation Group are delighted to announce that the two day Children’s Festival 2023 is a SELLOUT! We look forward to welcoming you all to a full weekend of all-inclusive activities for children in the beautiful meadow setting alongside the River Test and and fingers crossed, but the weather’s looking promising!
The theme for our 2023 festival is ‘bees’: all inspired by the beautiful landscape surrounding Whitchurch: the River Test, Heritage Mill Trail and North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Our 2023 line-up includes:
* ceramics * jewellery making * weaving * origami * mural painting * printmaking * recycled art * willow weaving * bookmaking * dance workshops * author readings * dance performances * rhyme time and storytime * storytelling * poetry * live theatre * walkabout performances * music workshops * live music performances *
as well as non-arts activities including
* donkey rides * inflatables * face painting * cookery *
All activities once inside the festival are included!
Food will be available to purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own picnic, if you wish.
Sorry, no dogs permitted (other than Guide dogs and assistance dogs). No unaccompanied children.
