A morning of programming for home schooling families – Our Home Education Event is designed for primary age children to learn and socialise at the Silk Mill.

10.30 – Tour of the Silk Mill
– learn about the history of our working Victorian Mill and how woven textile is made.

11:30 – Silk painting and frame loom weaving
– practice the Ancient Chinese art of silk painting and have a go at weaving your own fabric.

This event is aimed at individual home-school families. Should you wish to visit the Mill as a Home Education co-op group, please email learning@whitchurchsilkmill.org.uk to organise a group visit.

Tickets £8 per child with one free accompanying adult– additional adults to pay Mill admission, or show proof of annual pass/family ticket.
