National Theatre Live at the Parish Hall – Noel Coward’s Present Laughter

National Theatre Live at the Parish Hall – Noel Coward’s Present Laughter

Don’t miss your chance to see the five-star comedy spectacle Present Laughter, directed by Matthew Warchus, with Andrew Scott (Vanya, All of Us Strangers, Fleabag) as Garry Essendine.

As he prepares to embark on an overseas tour, star Garry Essendine’s colourful life is in danger of spiralling out of control. Engulfed by an escalating identity crisis at his many and various relationships compete for his attention, Garry’s few remaining days at home are a chaotic whirlwind of love, sex, panic and soul-searching.

This is a full show including a short introduction and an interval show or interview.

There will be a Soft Drinks and Wine Bar. We ask people not to bring their own drinks as the small amount we make from the bar subsidises the cost of the film hire.

While we can’t foresee what next summer will bring. Our climate continues to be unpredictable, with forecasts of hotter and drier summers and increasingly wet winters. Learning to conserve water and plant drought tolerant and drought resistant plants is essential if we are to support our gardens and the insects and pollinators which rely on them.

David will share his extensive practical experience, knowledge and innovative ideas to help you become a more water savvy gardener .

A familiar face to those who watch BBC Gardeners World, David is a gardener, horticulturist, lecturer, journalist, writer, presenter and travel courier. He is also an RHS Tender Plants Committee member and Shows Judge.
