Saturday 2nd March is THE DAY to learn all about Whitchurch as a community day is to be held at the Gill Nethercott Centre

Over 20 groups provide displays
Over twenty groups and organisations will be present in the afternoon to provide information and details both for new and existing residents. Clubs and Societies will have displays ranging from cricket to scouting, and from tourism to walking. Some will be making short presentations, while tea and coffee will also be available.
Just pop in it is all FREE

Social Chat, Town Report, Awards and an Open Q & A Session
The evening starts with the town’s official annual presentation – a short report from the Town Council on its activities through the year and a chance to meet local Councillors.
A highlight is the Annual Community Awards. These are presented to local people who have been nominated for their voluntary work for the good of our local community, or who inspire others through their achievements. Six Awards are presented each year.

The Day is perhaps the best opportunity to get involved in the town’s progress as a community, as the evening includes an Open Town Q & A Session where anything can be raised from parking to play areas, and from local planning to transport.
Meet people, Chat, Exchange Ideas Don’t Miss it.

It really will be a worthwhile day. ALL WELCOME to any part.
