Places to eat in Whitchuch

Eating and drinking out in Whitchurch is never difficult as the town boasts a full range of establishments, with several public houses, a social club, various takeaways, restaurants and a number of tea rooms. All tastes are catered for from carry out fish and chips or a pizza, to tea and a slice of cake, or a sumptuous gourmet supper.

The pubs range from those that focus on high quality restaurant food and fine wines to those serving good wholesome food in a traditional setting. Some serve lunchtime meals only while others focus on evening dining, so it is best to check in advance. All serve traditional real ales, with three of the outlets listed in the current Good Beer Guide.

Tea rooms can be found in the Town centre and also in the Silk Mill although some of the pubs also offer tea and cakes all day. Fresh takeaway sandwiches are also available in some of the shops. No one need ever go hungry or thirsty in Whitchurch.
