The ringing of the churchbells is one of England’s most endearing sounds as the bells resonate across the town heralding the church services. The traditional skills are both taught and practised each week at All Hallows by all ages of campanologist. The tower houses 10 bells dating from the 15th century onwards, and many were cast locally in Bell Street. The Whitchurch Bellringers ring for church services and weddings and often visit other towers. They practice every Monday at All Hallows from 7.30pm. New members always welcome, no religious affiliation is necessary.
