Some News from Whitchurch Youth Project Volunteers
On behalf of the Whitchurch Youth Project and the Whitchurch Youth Centre Trust,
we wish to welcome everyone and in particular the parents of current and future members,
to our open evening on:
Wednesday June 20 @ 8pm at The Gill Nethercott Centre
One aim of the evening is to share with you details of the activities in which the club members have been involved throughout this year, and our plans for making next year – our eighth! – even better.
The evening will give you an opportunity to meet the volunteers that help both at the club and also behind the scenes and to ask us any questions.
Amongst others, PC Paula Deery will also be attending the event.
The evening will start at 8pm with a chance to view our information stands and speak with volunteers young and old(er!) about the project that runs the youth club. There will also be some information about the youth trust that has been established in recent years.
From 8.30pm, two of our volunteers will give a short presentation drawing together all the information about the project and the trust that we recently provided to the Annual Town Meeting.
Then from about 8.40 there will be time for you to ask questions more formally, if you wish.
Finally, we are really pleased that Chris Miller, a former member of the youth project who has done so much to support and help towards the dream of Whitchurch having its own youth centre, will be with us that evening to answer questions about his amazing trip to ‘Ben Nevis and Back’.*
We will provide light refreshments, and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday,
….. From all the volunteers.
