It was a close match against the Wiltshire team.
The Jam Boys travelled over to Salisbury for their Wessex League Premier Division match, against Bemerton Heath Harlequins, a team who until today were unbeaten in the League.

With Whitchurch starting to look better as the season develops three points were the aim and so it was – but only just.

Bemerton Heath Harlequins 2 – Whitchurch Utd 3

Isaac Sedu, Alex Pickering and Pa Touray all hit the back of the net for Whitchurch.

This much needed win moves Whitchurch into the top half of the table and into 8th place after having won four of their eight matches.
Supporters who had traveled to the match were delighted at the result.

Whitchurch have another away game on Tuesday (17th) when they take on Horndean at Five Heads Park, kick off 7.45pm, then next Saturday (21st) they are at back at home against current high flyers Sholing at the Longmeadow Ground.

Great game, Whitchurch were rubbish in the first half but were by far the better team in the second half. What great goals but the Jam Boys left it late.
Jim will have to get the team firing on all cylinders at the start, especially when they play Sholing and the other high flyers.
