'K' meets some captured mice on his return journey

____________

Firstly, He’s back.

The white mouse that had escaped from the shops’ Fairytale Competition has been returned to his home and is back taking his place in the contest, along with 24 of his squeaky colleagues, following OPERATION MOUSETRAP

After an adventurous trip that included a trip around the town dangling by his tale from a bikes handlebars, signing the Torch petition and meeting a number of friends, ‘K’ is now in a safe and warm location.

Competition deadline extended
If you haven’t taken part, the competition to collect the letters on the mice with a chance to win a family ticket for 4 to see Peter Pan at the Anvil, has been extended until Friday.
There is also a competition to answer a number of fairytale questions from the scrolls themselves.

To take part you just need to pop into one of the premises showing the Scrolls and pick up an entry form. Then search out the mice and collect the letters to answer the final riddle.
Completed forms should be dropped into H’s Coffee Shop by the end of Friday afternoon.

And the winner is…
The winner of the Competition will be announced at:
H’s Coffee Shop at 6pm on Friday 16th December.
The Carnival Queen will draw the winner, and the best shop window award will also be made.
The latter is one of the town’s longest running competitions having been introduced by our Mayor.
The evening will be a good one, with plenty of warming drinks and refreshments.

It is hoped that several of the shops will also be open for some late night shopping.
