The pleasant 1.5 mile route starting at the Gill Nethercott Centre should take around 90 minutes and is an ideal activity to get to know the town more. Combined with a Fun Quiz it provides snippets of history and information, incorporating general knowledge and observation.
It is a simple easy-to-follow trail through the town and includes both urban streets and rural footpaths.
There answers are provided, although there are no prizes – just don’t look at the Answer Sheets before starting!

Meanwhile the Association, with support from the Town Council and local traders, is continuing with its plans for the town to be a ‘Walkers are Welcome’ destination.
This is a nationwide initiative that encourages towns and villages to be welcoming and attractive destinations for walkers.
