Whitchurch United travel to Hallen, a club on the outskirts of Bristol to start their ‘Road to Wembley’.
The match in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Budweiser FA Cup will be a tough one for the Jam Boys, but they go there in good spirits following their League win against Romsey last Tuesday.
A coach has been arranged for supporters, Let’s hope there is cause for celebrations on their return on Saturday night. It has been reported that the Club Chairman Gary Shaughnessy is stepping down after seven years in the top seat. A win would be a good ending to his time at the Club.
If Whitchurch win, they would then take on Bournemouth or Highworth Town, scheduled for Saturday 31st August.
It will be the first of two matches against Hallen FC, as Whitchurch are coincidentally drawn away to them in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Carlsberg FA Vase on 7th September.
