Whitchurch in Lights, the local group who have been working hard and raising funds to light up the town, urgently need some help this Saturday (December 2nd).
It is hoped the Whitchurch Community can pull together.

The Whitchurch In Lights team are “desperate for help” and welcome anyone who can spare a little time “to come along to the Parish Hall on Saturday 2nd December at 10.00a.m to lend a hand”.

There are lots of overhead trees and cables to go up, and around 50 lanterns too.
They add:
“We are definitely not going to be on schedule without help”.

There are lots of plans alraedy made for the Lights-on evening on Thursday 7th, which will be a lovely evening for the town, including a Lantern Procession, Santa, Music, Gift Fair, Shops and Cafés and Carols, plus events in the local pubs for all.

Please if anyone can spare just a short time to help, just turn up at the Parish Hall on Saturday morning – it will be more than appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
