What’s behind the wooden shuttering at Sutton Scotney? 26 metres more of The Watercress Way 26 mile route!
This Spring, the Trustees of The Watercress Way long distance trail will be opening up the shuttering on the road arch over the old Didcot to Southampton railway line to grade the ground down to the other side so that the railway cutting can be cleared of the old fridges etc that had been dumped over the years.
The plans will be on display at the Coach & Horses, Sutton Scotney this Saturday 9th March between 11am and 3pm and this is an opportunity to chat with the trustees and find out a bit more about The Watercress Way and the paths being opened up along the old railway lines and droves to create this exciting 26 mile trail, many sections of which are also accessible to cyclists and horse riders.
