This weekend has a wealth of activities – see a play, win £1000, plant some spuds, dance the night away, then travel to the outer reaches of the universe!
Whenever before have you had such an opportunity to boost your lifestyle!
But there is more. Saturday sees Brockenhurst football club visit the Longmeadow Sports Ground. Remember the FA Cup when it hit Whitchurch? Brockenhurst were knocked out by Whitchurch in the Jam Boy’s cup run and will be seeking a revenge win! But our local lads are on form and are looking to move up the league table. It should be a good game!
Meanwhile over at Testbourne the annual Potato days are being held – with sack loads of seed potatoes all available to help you start growing your own.
But the big one must be that £1000 prize, for members of the Sports and Social Club. Be there Saturday evening, where there is also a fun quiz, but if you don’t attend you can’t win!
However that is not all. Saturday is also the last night of the WADS at the Parish Hall; what a farce this is, or rather two of them and a Sue Townsend creation.
The town is full of choice. as if the above don’t tickle your fancy how about finishing the day with a disco down the White Hart!
Many of us would sleep in after so much, so a lie in may be in order on Sunday with perhaps a relaxing wander down to the Meadow. From early evening you will be able to see Jupiter and its moons through high power telescopes before a talk and food over the Social Club. Let us hope for a clear sky.
Enjoy our town!
No one can ever say there is nothing to do in Whitchurch!
