Today is the last ‘official’ day to register your vote for an area of open space to be protected for ever!
Daniel Park has been nominated to be one of Queen Elizabeth Fields that would be protected as an outdoor recreational space for ever under a scheme to create a permanent living legacy of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Whitchurch’s campaign was launched by Cllr Keith Watts and is being supported by the town website team.
Whitchurch is now leading the challenge!
As of this morning Whitchurch is leading the local list with over 300 votes, but there is still time to add more.
There are 13 other sites within the Basingstoke & Deane Council area – let’s ensure that Whitchurch remains top when the voting closes!
