Experience in the trade
Philip’s grandmother opened the family’s first shop and he began working on his father’s stall when he was just 11. Later he moved from Gloucester to run an independent butchers in Andover. He is well-known locally for his high quality produce and sells the whole range of meats and associated produce from beef and pork to game and eggs.
The premises have been redecorated and the layout has changed slightly. There are to be more changes to come including some very nice signage.
A real butcher
Whitchurch is very lucky to have kept a ‘real butcher’ when so many are closing around the country and Philip is wished success in his business.
