A move for this excellent venue…
“The Cottage Closes. Long Live the Cottage.”
The Cottage, a relaxing place run for teas, coffees, cakes and a good natter has moved. Run by the Methodist church, the original ‘Cottage’ has closed, but in line with the famous saying (and with some sincere apologies to the original) – “Long Live the Cottage”.
Moving a matter of yards…
All the popular activities that took place in the Cottage including the refreshments, and Fairtrade goods, are now taking place just yards away in the adjacent church.
Open on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 12 noon, this provides a relaxing place for refreshments and a chat for those out shopping.
Better access; more space…
The move to the church means that access for the disabled is catered for as well as having more usable space.
Many have said how much they enjoy the new venue.
It is hoped that the tea and coffee facility will eventually be open more days of the week.
All are welcome.
Pop in you will enjoy it.
