The Gill Nethercott Centre was the place to be last Saturday as plenty of people turned up to listen to Misbehavin’ , the popular Dorset based jazz cabaret quartet.

Drawing from well know ballads to playing their own songs, Misbehavin’ bring a heady mixture of the known and unknown with a hint of cabaret. Helen Porter has seductive a voice, complemented with exciting solos from Karen Wimhurst on clarinet and bass clarinet.
They were accompanied by Robin Walter on rhythm guitar, with double bass from Ralf Dorrell.
They were really pleased with the acoustics in the Gill Nethercott and complimented us on being an attentive  and responsive audience.

Thanks to Sarah (centre manager) and Dave Castle, for making the room look so atmospheric,  with candle lit cabaret style seating and real ale the evening was a great success.
Lets hope they return!
