Peter Pan is to visit Whitchurch

In a fantastic coup for this year’s Christmas in Whitchurch, Peter Pan will be visiting to help switch on the Christmas Lights at the Town Hall on Thursday 1st December. Plans for the evening are progressing like wildfire with now 25 traders already signed up to participate in the fairytale evening.

Actor Ben-Ryan Davies, known for his roles in Waterloo Road and Rough Diamond is playing Peter Pan at the Anvil and has agreed to join with the Town Mayor in this year’s start to the festivities.

With the Fair at the Gill Nethercott Centre, Victorian costumes at the Silk Mill, shops open for late night trading and the launch of the Window Competition, this year’s festivities are looking to be the best ever.

With new enthusiastic organisers involved the town centre will come alive with seasonal activities. Following the grand switch on and the competition launches at 6.00pm there will be festive cheer and warming refreshments both in the shops and down at the Community Centre.
Of course you can spend the evening hunting out those white mice in the shops, with the first prize in the competition being a family ticket to see Peter Pan at the Anvil!

Further details will be announced as and when they become available or call Pauline on 01256 895670.
