World Cup interest takes hold

As football fever rises, many in the town are entering into the spirit of the occasion, with shops, businesses, groups and individuals all showing their support for England in the World Cup, now underway in South Africa.

Twangfest 2010 Rocks The Town!

Once again some great music rocked the town at the fourth annual Twangfest. 800 attended the day long event that featured 17 local bands performing on two stages at Testbourne to the delight of the crowds on the glorious summer’s day.

10 mph speed limit along B3400

With immediate effect, and for 21 days, a 10 m.p.h. speed limit is in force along the B3400 from the Wells-in-the-Field sign in the west over Rotten Hill to the Woodlands roundabout at Southington in the east.
