The re-surfacing of Lynch Hill Park commenced today and the southern carriageway has been completed, plus some of the northern carriageway at the Newbury Road end.

Users should take extreme care as skidding is possible and chippings may fly up and cause damage to people walking, cycling or to other property.

A 10mph limit is in operation together with a manual traffic control where necessary

Access remains available and the works are not expected to take more than a day or so.
Road-lining will then follow.

Hampshire County Council are carrying out road maintenance repairs. The work was originally advertised as starting on the 17th May.
