Sorry in advance!

Yes we know its far far too early to think about Christmas too, so this is just a marker for the Diary!
It is not a call to start shopping for the in-laws present or to post Christmas cards, although if you haven’t yet ordered that turkey… Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

This year’s Grand Christmas Light Switch On is to be held on Thursday 1st December. Along with the lights there are plans for several other attractions from a Fayre at the Gill Nethercott Centre to carol singing and hot refreshments.
Several other initiatives are also in the planning stages.

We are telling you now so that if any groups, individuals, shops or businesses want to join in and do something at the same time and help make it a great kick off to Christmas in Whitchurch, they will know about it.

So turn over the calendar to the last month of the year and draw a big happy face marker with a Santa hat against Thursday 1st December.

If you would like to send us a copy of your Christmas Smiley, we may even publish it here!

Meanwhile has anyone seen next year’s Easter eggs in the shops yet?
