John has stood as the Labour party candidate for the Kingsclere Ward on three previous occasions. John is keen to see local issues of Health and Social care, Provision of support for Young People, Free Bus passes on Public Transport. Treating people as you would wish to be treated yourself is at the heart of all he does.
We want to put people first. Many decisions have been made over the last few years that ignored the public and their view. We want to change that and put people back at the heart of decisions made in our local council. We think it’s time for change. We want to see integrated health and social care across Hampshire. We want to see our elderly well supported with the reintroduction of the free safety alarm and protecting the free bus pass. We want to see our young people well supported through good youth provision. Simply we want people to be treated as people and not numbers on page.’
John has been married to Sherry for nearly 25 years and has a son Sam, 22, and daughter Katie, 19. John is a season ticket holder at Reading FC and enjoys endurance cycling events and cooking for family and friends to relax.
