Poor pitch conditions after a period of very wet weather unfortunately led to the Jam Boy’s game against Fareham Town tis afternoon being called off.
The Longmeadow ground was inspected but the match between the two Wessex League Premier Division teams could not go ahead.
Elsewhere in the League there was some high scoring, with five teams out of the six games played scoring at least three goals.
Whitchurch Utd hold 10th place and will be looking for a top third finish. Their next League game is next Saturday (16th November) when they take on Totton and Eling, away at their Little Testwood Farm ground. Totton and Eling are presently languishing just two places above the bottom and will be keen to gain points to help survival in the Division.
Before that though, Whitchurch are planned to be away against Hungerford Town on Tuesday in Round One of the Basingstoke Senior Cup.
