WADS’ next production is a selection of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, to be performed outdoors at The Lawn by kind permission of the Denning Family.

Canterbury Tales – adapted by the company’s own Claire Isbester – runs for three nights from 22 to 24 June, starting at 7pm. Claire says, “This is a quick easy way into some of the finest stories ever told – from the uplifting and moral to the bawdy and downright silly. From knights and courtly love to whoops-there-go-my-trousers.

“Bring a picnic and something to sit on. This is a promenade performance – we will be moving around on our pilgrimage – and the show will go on whatever the weather.”

Tickets are available from www.wads.website, www.facebook.com/WADSweb or 01256 892514 and cost £8 (£5 concessions). Gates open at 6:30pm.
