We are pleased to include the most recent news from the Whitchurch Festival who have just released their latest newsletter as a preview to next week’s Procession and Fete.

Over to the hard-working Festival team…

Welcome to the 4th Whitchurch Festival News Letter

Carnival time in Whitchurch!!!!

Following on from a very successful and hugely fun Pub Race, the time has arrived to bring the Whitchurch Carnival into Town. The Procession beings at 1pm on July 16th in Ardglen Road. This follows through to Evingar Road, to Bell Street, to Winchester Road, to Micheldever Road and finally through to Whitchurch Primary School. If you want to enter the Procession then please contact via the Website.

The Procession will arrive at Whitchurch Primary School about 2pm where the Carnival Fete begins. We have a Craft Market, Children’s Games, Pony Ride, Rodeo Ride, Sumo Suits Draught Bar, Pimms & Lemonade Tent, BBQ, and loads more. The Fete is a non-profit event with all proceeds going back to support Whitchurch Festival and more community events, as well as supporting very important local good causes and Charities.

Please be aware that there is a rolling road closure from 1pm til 2pm through Whitchurch to allow the Procession to pass safely. Can you please pass this message on to anyone that you know may be affected by this temporary road closure.

Support and Help

The Festivals are not only designed for fun and interesting days in our Community, but also very key in raising money for local good causes and charities, so please come along enjoy the day and support all of those that have help make events possible. If you are a local business and would like to sponsor one or part of an event, then please get in touch with us it as any support will be gratefully received.

And don’t forget, if you want to get involved and volunteer your time to any of the events then please get in contact with us at our Festival email.
