A whole range of exciting festive events are planned throughout December as part of the Whitchurch Christmas Celebrations.

December 1st sees the ‘official’ switch on of Christmas festivities in Whitchurch with an evening of fun and activities with both a gift fair and the traditional switching on of the lights.
The Town Mayor, Cllr John Clark, will be carrying out the lighting up ceremony outside the Town Hall at 6.00pm on Wednesday 1st December.
There will also be carol-singing for all the family, to help get into the Christmas mood!
The Mayor will then lead a procession down to the Christmas Fair….

At 4.00pm the Christmas Fair will have opened in the Gill Nethercott Centre with a wide range of attractions.
As well as the stalls there will be music, and refreshments, including warming jacket potatoes to ward off the cold.
A free tea or coffee and a cake are also available on presentation of the special voucher, so look out for them around town or call into the Centre.

The large range of stalls will include Phoenix Cards, Pamper Chef, Christmas floristry arrangements, Christmas puddings and cakes, jewellery and gifts, handicrafts, and stocking fillers from the National Trust.
There will also be fun activities for children and a bottle tombola for adults!

The Fair continues into the evening until 8.00pm

Other attractions are also in the pipeline, and will be announced here when confirmed, but mark the launch of Christmas festivities in Whitchurch now – Wednesday 1st December.

Christmas activities will also be highlighted on the Events Calendar of this website, so anyone can send their event to contact@Whitchurch.org.uk
