Whitchurch Surgery

Local doctor Paul Barber has issued a message about how children and younger people are so important in the fight to halt this awful virus, and calls for greater adherence to social-distancing as well as advising against Mothers Day get-togethers.

He states:

I know it is really hard and everyone is trying to retain a sense of normality in their lives but can I implore anyone who is planning sleepovers for their kids and allowing them to hang out together, not to please.
I am concerned that the social distancing policy is not being applied properly to children. I don’t think that children understand what it means and if they go out in groups they will be shoulder to shoulder and share sweets etc.
If anyone is planning a last-ditch get together for Mothers Day then again I would strongly advise against it.
Please share this.
