All the tickets for this Friday’s performance of Carpe Jugulum at the Parish Hall have been sold. However, WADS says that there are still tickets available for Thursday and Saturday.
Carpe Jugulum is an adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld book and is a pastiche on the traditions of vampire literature, where vampires wear bright clothes, drink wine, and stay up until noon.
The play – which runs on three consecutive nights from 22 November – will be the second Discworld story that WADS has staged. Back in 2007, WADS put on Wyrd Sisters, and people who saw that may (or may not) be pleased to note that the three witches, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat, are back for Carpe Jugulum.
To book, call Claire on 01256 892514, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, check out facebook.com/WADSweb, or you can book and pay online at wadsweb.org.uk and also ticketsource.co.uk/wadsweb.
