Those who went on the recent annual Great Whitchurch Carol Tour round some of the pubs not only thoroughly enjoyed themselves, entertained many, and whetted their vocal chords with fine ales, but they also raised funds for a local charity.

The Carol Tour which started at the Bell and was organised by Sue Rampton, raised a grand sum of £210 which has been kindly donated to the Kingfisher Trust which runs the Kingfisher Day Centre at Testbourne.
The Centre is having to move premises which need renovating and a new heating system is one of their top priorities.
