“What does the Olympics or the Jubilee mean to me?”

That is the theme for a new competition for the decorated bollards launched by the Town Mayor Councillor Jackie Day.
Entrants are asked to submit their ideas for two bollard designs.
There are two categories – Best 16 year old and under, and best 17 and over. The winners will each receive a prize from the Mayor.
The winning designs will also be added to the town’s community art project and two bollards will be decorated with the designs in either the Town Square or in Bell Street Car Park.

Simple designs are recommended and detailed drawings are not required.
They should be put in an envelope marked “Bollards” and dropped into the Town Hall before 30th June.
Don’t forget to include your name, contact details and which category you are entering in.
Any enquiries can be sent to The Community Art Project.
