- How do local sites work and how can they help you?
The official town website www.Whitchurch.org.uk is inviting everyone to attend an informal gathering at the Town Hall on Wednesday 7th December at 8.00pm.
Whether you are a home user, an organisation or a business, or run a website of your own you are invited to pop along for an informal discussion and a chat on local ‘community communications.’
All local Facebook, Twitter and other social networking users also welcome, as well as those who just want to find out a little more.
There will be help for users of community websites, and even assistance for any local groups wishing to set up their own web presence. Sharing ideas and working together for the betterment of Whitchurch will also be a focus.
Dubbed Whitchurch Community Communications, or COMMCOMMS, it is hoped as many as possible will attend. The gathering will be very relaxed and there might be a biscuit or two too!
Definitely no techie knowledge required!
Just turn up.
