Whitchurch Utd 0 – Pewsey Vale 2

This was a hard fought game with Pewsey being determined to avenge their loss last year. The visitors almost scored in the opening minute but it was not until the 20th that they found the back of the net. Pewsey were best in possession and this paid off when doubled their lead just before half-time.
Although the home team was more lively after the break, they could not break down the resolve of the visitors.

Whitchurch are now in 9th position in the Wessex League.
The next League match is an away game to United Services Portsmouth next Saturday 20th October.
