Join local mums and dads, and try out a variety of ‘Dutch-style’ bikes of different shapes and sizes. They’ll show you how to ride in style and answer all the bike questions you’ve been afraid to ask. A range of female-friendly bicycles suitable for town, commuting, recreation, and fun will be on display and available to try.
Also on show to try will be various child-carrying solutions, great lightweight child bikes and even Brompton folding bikes for the commuter or explorer in you.
A fun relaxed evening is guaranteed for everyone from absolute beginners through to more experienced riders. While the evening will be female orientated, gentlemen are most welcome.
A great opportunity to find the right ride for you over a glass of wine and nibbles. This is a free event, it’s not a sales pitch, it’s not being run by a bikeshop or bike company. No lycra is needed (or wanted!).
***STOP RESS*** a Brighton firm Amsterdammers ( www.amsterdammers.co.uk ) , specialising in importing used Dutch bikes from the Netherlands will be attending, with a good selection of bikes to try out. Absolutely no sales pressure at all, if you like what they have but not quite right Stefan will work with you to find one that fits, at the right price.
