Poster for Testbourne School's OXJAM concertPupils of Testbourne Community School will showcase their musical talents to raise money for charity next week.

On Thursday 24th October, the school invites local residents are friends to enjoy an evening of musical performances in the school’s Theatre Hall in aid of Oxfam.

It’s all part of OXJAM, ‘the nation’s local music festival’. Throughout October, hundreds of volunteers are hosting gigs all over the country to raise funds for Oxfam’s important work tackling poverty and suffering in the UK and beyond.

Testbourne school’s Oxjam event is an open mic contest that will see pupils competing to win a recording studio session kindly donated by Andover’s Anton Road Studios.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for under 18s and senior citizens, and can be bought on the evening or purchased in advance from the Oxjam website.

Doors open at 7pm. Halloween themed refreshments and games will be available!
