Come and meet the Head Brewer of Arkells for a evening of Talk, Taste, Cask and Craft.
This evening is a chance to meet Alex Arkell, the man who brews those traditional ales, as he comes to Whitchurch to discuss the art of brewing.
Arkells are a family-owned brewery that prides itself on its history and tradition. They continue to brew in much the same way that John Arkell did when the brewery was founded in 1843 and now also run over 100 pubs, of which the White Hart in Whitchurch is one.
The White Hart was a runner up in the local Campaign for Real Ale’s Pub of the Year Competition and is a current entry in CAMRA’s best-seller, the Good Beer Guide – a recognition of the quality of the beers served by licensees Andy and Julie Moss.
It has also been recently redecorated giving a nice fresh feel to this excellent community-focussed pub.
