A new band, Cutting it Fine, will be performing live at the The Kings Arms on Friday 10th December.

The set has a strong Clapton flavour, but with loads of other stuff too. Do come along, entry is free.

One member of the band also plays in the Fourfathers, who many will remember from their performance at a fundraising event last September in the Parish Hall. They have a new My Space site, which includes previously unreleased tracks to download – click HERE.

Band member Andrew Monk writes…

The new blues rock band features ex members of the Heidi McLaughlin band: John Dennet (Drums), Nigel Quelch (Guitars and Vocals) and Andrew Monk (Bass) with new additions Adrian Gill (Lead Vocal and Harmonica) and Rob Davenport (Many guitars).

The music is covers of blues rock standards from The Animals, Fleetwood Mac, Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, Wilson Pickett, oh, and there might be the odd Eric Clapton number too.

This is the first gig at the Kings Arms since the new management took over. They are keen to promote live music, so come and support them and the new band.
