This half-term school break, why not have some fun down on our wonderful meadow?
Kids can try to find 36 plastic (but very realistic looking) insects hidden on the Meadow.
All will be on lower parts of birch tree trunks (birches are easy to spot because of their white bark).
The insects are yours to keep if you find them.
More clues about where to find them will appear on the Meadow website the day before: http://WhitchurchMeadow.org.uk
Another fun activity: use the new, colourful “I spy” sheets to see if you can spot all shown autumn fruits, seeds and colourful leaves. The sheets can be found on the information boards and taken with you on a walk around the Meadow.
And remember there’s the swing on the old Oak tree, pond viewing platforms and the log circle too!
